The following restaurants and pub’s have all been visited by myself recently,
all sell fresh home made foods with no fancy prices, offering top class food and service.
I will update these sites on a regular basis.

Hebden Bridge,W York’s, hx7 7at
This is a grand old pub, serving the very best English food.
No nouvelle cuisine here, just quality tasty home made food,
our meal for today, 29/05/2008.
was a Neapolitan pasta for my wife and a small rack of lamb for me.
Food doesn’t get better than this just a small choice from a very comprehensive menu. all carefully prepared by the landlady.
booking is advisable.
the pub itself sits in the midst of pristine walking country.
and has a rustic charm all of its own.
The menu itself is either set menu or specials board.
far to numerous dishes for me to list.
ranging from own produced lamb to huge seafood thermador’s
A very fine selection of beers and single malt whiskies on offer.
you would need to stay a week to sample them all.
The landlady, (chef,) is just about the most industrious person, I have ever met, not only dishing up perfectly consistent meals, but finds time to bake home made cakes, as well. for you to purchase.
It has to be said this is the tastiest of lamb and is home reared and matured humanely on the pleasant moors and pastures adjacent to the inn there is none better in this land.
see the holiday cottage on the pub website,
and find time to roam this beautiful. moor and eat at the Hoss.

Our choice of food was. a duo of fresh Newlyn fish,

This dish was served on a very large plate, and cooked to perfection.
Trawling is in the family. so the fish is straight out of the sea.
